When then-Spotsylvania County Superintendent Shelley Redinger announced the first phase of her plan to streamline the school division this spring, she began by listing 19 central office positions that had been cut over the previous three years. Then she presented nearly $1 million in savings for the next school year by cutting eight more central office positions and downgrading nine others....
