A Richmond man who was a key prosecution witness in trials involving the slaying of Fredericksburg resident Rodney Beanum Jr. was ordered Friday to serve eight years in prison. Known as "J.R.," Beanum was shot multiple times in the back of the head while lying face down on Howard Avenue in Mayfield last November.
