The Compassionate Friends of Fredericksburg will participate in an annual worldwide event Dec. 14 to honor the memories of all children, regardless of age, who have died. The local chapter will be part of the group's 18th annual worldwide candle lighting, an event believed to be the largest mass candle lighting in the world, said Kathie Kelly, leader of the Fredericksburg Chapter.
