James Ashby Moncure, a Fredericksburg-area real estate investor, has been indicted on federal fraud charges and if convicted, faces a possible 200-year prison sentence and a fine of $4 million, federal authorities announced today in a news release. Moncure, 42, has been charged with eight counts of wire fraud, two counts of mail fraud and two counts of engaging in unlawful monetary transactions.
